Data Replication

Terralink provides automated data deliveries for clients. These are based on the type of application at the clients end. Currently we have a number of clients who receive a Smallworld to Smallworld spatial data replication. These include clients such as Telecom, Vector, North Power and PowerCo. These replications occur nightly and are one way.

Other clients receive an Oracle to Oracle spatial data replication either nightly or weekly. For some of these clients such as Telecom and Yellow, the spatial data replication is two way, meaning that we replicate data to the client, and the client also replicates data to us. Other data replication types (eg Oracle to MS SQL) are available.

Terralink have been carrying out automated data replications for many years and are experienced in processes and checks and monitoring procedures to ensure that it is "business as usual" for our customers.
