The geocoding method that Terralink uses has one aim: to maximise both match rate, and accuracy. Terralink uses multiple matching routines against multiple address file formats, to ensure addresses have the best chance to match. 

Using Terralink's NZ MasterMap^TM - Addresses layer -which is New Zealand's most complete and accurate 'real world' physical address dataset, ensures that we have the best base data to start the process with. This combined with our specialist matching expertise means that we can provide you with the best possible verified match of physical addresses with appended geocode co-ordinates.

Geocoding services are relevant to any sized company, allowing them to pinpoint customers and clean client address records.

To match addresses and standardise addressing formats, addresses supplied by the client are matched against legal and alias addresses. Suburb information can be corrected and postcodes added. Enhanced addresses are returned to the customer in specified database formats.

Alternatively Terralink can supply an address data set and consultancy services for companies to perform these tasks internally.

When it is important to show the geographical location of an address, Terralink International provides co-ordinates to supplement address information. Georeferences are provided to clients chiefly for use within Geographic Information Systems (GIS), but can also be supplied as digital and hardcopy maps.
