Many thanks to everyone who attended the recent Geospatial Solutions launch events in Auckland and Wellington. These events were to introduce the new Geospatial Solutions branding to our clients and peers in the New Zealand Geospatial industry.

Terralink has for many years provided solutions around our data, but where we were often front of mind for clients in terms of data, this was not always the case in terms of geospatial solutions consultancy.
With more geospatial specialists and consultants than any other New Zealand organisation we felt it was time that the geospatial consultancy side of the business had its own brand to communicate that offering clearly to the market.

The highlight of the live launch event in Wellington was an address from the Hon. Maurice Williamson, Minister of Land Information.
The Minister's passion for all things 'geospatial' shone through in his presentation and his questions for our guest speaker Rod Oram sparked an interesting and lively dialogue between speakers and attendees.
Another highlight was hearing one of New Zealand's most respected business and economics commentators, Rod Oram, discuss the role geospatial data and solutions will play in driving the New Zealand economy.
