Terramatch

Because much of the property data in New Zealand is stored by different organisations, without consideration of integration and standardisation, Terralink has developed software and processes to integrate these datasets.

Terramatch is an innovative and continuously updated system which links addresses to valuation and title information, allowing clients to use different property identifiers to access current property information.

The service works by linking three separate databases:

  • Core Record System (incorporating survey, cadastral and title data)
  • Roll/Assessment References from New Zealand valuation databases, and
  • Terralink's own land information database (including titles and public land)

Because all three databases are constantly changing, Terralink can provide new updates for Terramatch as often as weekly. Terramatch is extremely flexible and can deliver property information in any standard business format such as Excel or Access.

Terramatch is often provided with boundary data in a digital form to enable users, who include local authorities, property developers, forestry, telecommunication and utility companies, to identify the owners and provide a Val.ref for that property in a project area.
