Cityscapes - 3D Capability

Models of buildings, used by planners and map makers, are available in 2D or 3D. Clutter data is also available. All building roof shapes are captured in true position and height above sea level and then extruded to ground level to create 3D solid objects. The buildings can then be textured with digital images and combined with a digital terrain model and orthophotography to create a 3D digital environment. We have existing Cityscape data and can create new models to meet your requirements.

3D Modelling - a whole new perspective

Using detailed terrain models, aerial photography and sophisticated software, Terralink International are able to produce accurate and detailed 3D maps. Using our 3D expertise we can include moving objects such as cars and people, as well as realistic lighting and environmental effects, to produce highly realistic models.

For example we have produced an accurate 3D view of Auckland's central business district. The completed project means that town planners have an instant and scaled view of their city from every angle.

We can also produce 360 degree Virtual Reality Environments, Fly-throughs, and Animations of existing and/or proposed future developments.
