NZ MasterMap Launch

On 28th and 29th August Terralink International held breakfast functions to celebrate the launch of NZ MasterMap.

NZ MasterMap is the latest product development of Terralink's core land information database, utilising our new integrated architecture platform which has been under development for two years. NZ MasterMap is New Zealand's largest single database of Land and Property Information. It contains 14 layers, comprising 54 sub-groupings of information including road centrelines, topographical features, addresses, land cover and high resolution aerial imagery.

The launch of NZ MasterMap was an event of national significance because it advances the capability of Terralink's national geospatial resource. We have created a database structure that will make data more accessible to more New Zealand businesses and government agencies.

The information in NZ MasterMap is critical to essential public services such as location finding for New Zealand's Emergency Services (Fire, Ambulance and Police), Corrections, and most of New Zealand's Central Government agencies. NZ MasterMap also provides information for many exciting new innovative businesses, such as road navigation and vehicle tracking, real estate, finance, insurance, agriculture and forestry.

Mapping Solutions - Auckland Imagery

Terralink has now completed all the latest urban Auckland imagery updates along with 45% of the Rural 10K ortho tiles now complete for the Auckland Consortium .

The team is also finalising the latest imagery supplies and updates for Tasman and Bay of Plenty. This imagery is also available for purchase from your sales representative.

Customers searching for Title Numbers in Terranet can find that a Title Report is unavailable for that property. This Title Number is still shown in many of our other reports that Terranet offers (eg. Valuation Report). Feel free to check these reports for this information.

Title Numbers are not the only way to order documents. Valuation numbers can also be used to order documents.

Legal Document Ordering

If you require documentation you can order Certificates of Title, Survey Plans and other
documents and have them emailed to you within 30 minutes.

Property Guru 2

Terralink is pleased to announce that Property Guru 2 was launched last week.

The latest enhancements include an even better interface that puts most functions a single click away, and interactive mapping to better visualise properties and neighbourhoods.

Liasing with our Property Guru users was invaluable in determining what the requirements would be for a new version. In particular users wanted interactive mapping, radius searching and most importantly quick and easy access to property information, filtering their specific criteria.
