Comprehensive property information website, Terranet, significantly increased revenue for its owners and new registrations tripled within the first month of its recent relaunch.

The site has won Terralink International a finals berth in New Zealand's Computerworld IT e-business awards which recognise excellence.

The Terranet one-stop-shop site offers a unique and comprehensive mix of property information on more than three million properties throughout New Zealand. It enables on-line purchase of property title documents with easy access to sales and valuation details, aerial images and property boundary maps.

More new features added this month enable searchers to check comparative property sales using more detailed categories such as a specific street, price range or lifestyle area. Chief Executive, Mike Donald, says the site's powerful search engines give it flexibility, power and performance and make it an instant, one-stop-shop for property data, with a combination of free and paid services.

"Thousands of businesses use Terranet every month as a key part of their business and the number of credit card transactions by casual site users buying property information has rocketed," said Mr Donald.

The Terranet site also offers free reporting from Census material and free links to the Ministry of Housing's rental statistics, enabling users to access a vast amount of property information all from a single search.
