Terralink International Appoints new General Manager 11 March 2002 Mike Donald has been appointed General Manager, Terralink International Ltd. Mike will be based in the Wellington office and will be tasked with achieving the company's vision of being the premier provider of timely, complete and accurate land information. Prior to joining Terralink International in November 2001, Mike was business development and market relationship manager for fencepost.com which is the e-commerce arm of Fonterra and the leading rural portal in New Zealand. Ian Taylor, CEO, says Mike brings to Terralink International extensive commercial acumen gained from exposure to a wide variety of markets. His role will be to grow the business for a future that is focused strongly on digital mapping and software development and delivery. "The company is now at the end of a consolidation period and is entering a new phase of business which includes moving to new premises in Wellington and actively recruiting additional staff to complete the mix of skills needed for our repositioning," he says Mike's first task will be to continue developing the latest product offering, Terralink eMap, (www.emap.co.nz) which is scheduled for public launch later this year. The role of General Manager has previously been held by Don Edwards.
