Terralink International's Landbase
Landbase themes include:
Spatial aspects in urban areas are generally derived from using our comprehensive aerial imagery, that is processed to have dimensions as accurate as a map. In rural areas the New Zealand Core Record System (CRS) has been adopted and enhanced. Spatial attributes have been sourced from the CRS, Territorial Local Authorities, 3rd-party organisations or field survey. Positional accuracy is dependent on method of capture:
Terralink International are currently undertaking their national imagery acquisition project which will result in seamless coverage over 100% of New Zealand. This will achieve a greater accuracy in all rural areas. Landbase is being constantly maintained and validated by ortho corrected aerial photography, field checking and third party data sources, including local government, to ensure the most timely accurate and complete road centre line and address database available in New Zealand. A maintenance team are continually collecting, updating and performing quality assurance functions on the Landbase data. Terralink International Landbase national data sets include:
