eMap Data

The core datasets behind eMap are: 

1. colour orthophotos to 0.125 metre ground sample distance (1 pixel = 12.5cm on the ground)
2. road centre lines, with spatial accuracy suitable for use with navigational applications
3. physical road names, with hierarchal levels of roading including; main, minor roads, surface type and number of lanes
4. physical property boundaries, match legal boundaries to physical boundaries such as fences, hedges, and windbreaks
5. house street numbers
6. kerb lines, the most visible point of reference for locating cables, drains and pipes 

Core data above is enhanced with:

1. legal boundaries from LINZ’s Cadastral database (DCDB & CRS)
2. contours
3. digital elevation models
4. asset maps
5. property valuations
6. legal title information
7. point to point route information 
    

Plus any geographic information from client systems:

1. above and below the ground assets and infrastructure
2. geo-coded customer locations
3. census information
4. transport and delivery routes
