eMap Technical Specifications
System
eMap harnesses the power of the Smallworld Geographic Information System (GIS) data management software, including its search engines, ability to manipulate images, and its measuring and routing tools.
Aerial Photography
The quality of the eMap images has been made possible through high-resolution aerial camera technology, enabling orthophotographs to 0.125m Ground Sample Distance. Orthophotographs combine the visual qualities of photographs with the measurable characteristics of maps.
